macOS
Drag files between AWS accounts.
A two-pane file explorer for Amazon S3. Sign in with the profiles already in ~/.aws, browse buckets across every account and region at once, and drag objects where you want them, including straight out to Finder.
Get S3 ClientOne seat, billed yearly. Pricing on the storefront.
What it does
Two panes, any two accounts
Put production in one pane and a sandbox in the other. Drag between them, between S3 and local disk, or out to Finder.
Transfers that outlive your credentials
Copies are resumable and survive an SSO session expiring mid-flight. Sign back in and the transfer picks up where it stopped.
The object operations you actually need
Storage-class changes, Glacier restores, presigned share links, object tags, versioning, rename, and bucket creation.
Sign-in is explicit
The app never resolves credentials in the background. You pick a profile and press Sign in, and it shows you the account ID and ARN you resolved to.
No AWS CLI required
SSO device-code sign-in is implemented natively. If you do have the CLI, the app shares its token cache, so signing in here signs you in there.
Updates itself
Checks a private release channel on launch and updates in place.
The checkable detail
Developed against a ~/.aws holding 94 profiles across five different credential mechanisms.
The console is not a file manager
Moving a hundred objects from one account to another through the console means a download, a folder on the desktop, and an upload, with the credentials swapped in between. S3 Client shows both accounts side by side and lets you drag.
It respects how your ~/.aws already works. Nothing is copied into the app; it reads the same config and SSO cache the CLI does.
